We got tired of watching good streams die.
CUEIRL is a cloud OBS platform built for IRL live streaming.
We're video producers, camera operators and creator managers, and we've spent years on the crew side of live streams. We've run cameras at events, built OBS setups for creators, ridden in the back of cars keeping a laptop alive, and been the one who gets the "stream's down" text at 2am.
We've tried most of what's out there. Streaming off one phone is cheap, and it falls over the second the signal does. Bonded backpacks hold up, but they're heavy and pricey, and you still need a laptop and someone to fix things mid-stream. Cloud OBS helped, right up until you had to change something fast from your phone while walking.
So we built the hard part ourselves, a switcher in the cloud and the servers that run it, and pointed it at the job we know best, which is one person streaming off a phone somewhere with bad signal.
CUEIRL is built around how a stream actually goes. Your scenes, audio, chat and every destination run on a server. Your phone or backpack only sends video. When the signal drops, the stream holds on your BRB scene and cuts back to you on its own. You run all of it from your phone, and the CUEIRL app is free.
It's in beta with a small group of testers right now. If something breaks on your stream, tell us.
